La Asamblea Nacional debatió los textos constitucionales para la creación de Constitución de 1884, además, conoció las demandas de la ciudadanía afectada por la dictadura de Ignacio de Veintimilla de manera que dichos actos se registraron en actas de sesiones, cuyos originales fueron transferidos para custodia del Archivo Legislativo.
