1. Mensaje del Poder Ejecutivo: Dando nombres de los eclesiásticos para ocupar las sillas que se van a proveer. 2. Elección Obispo de Cuenca: Luego de constantes votaciones se aprueba la siguiente moción: Que se verifiquen dos votaciones más para elección del Obispo de Cuenca, terminadas las cuales se declare cerrada la sesión. 3. En cumplimiento de la moción aprobada, no habiendo sido electo ninguno de los candidatos, se levanta la sesión, quedando relegada para el día siguiente la elección del Obispo de Guayaquil.
